I'm going to try to list a tip, trick, or tutorial everyday for the month of October in celebration of BLOGtoberfest! To start off on this month of celebration, I'll be showing you the Scratch 'n Sniff Embossing technique! I do want to apologize in advance for the bad pictures. I don't know why they turned out horribly!
Scratch ‘n Sniff Recipe:
Combine 3 parts embossing powder with 1 part sugar free Kool-Aid (3/4 tsp embossing powder and 1/4 tsp Kool-Aid = 1 tsp scratch 'n sniff powder)
Variations
Try different smells
Sugar-free hot chocolate mix
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
1. Stamp image with VersaMark (if using colored embossing powder) OR a Craft Pad (if using clear embossing powder)
2.Sprinkle stamped image with embossing powder. Tap off excess. Heat with Heat tool/gun to set.
3. Allow to cool for a few seconds, then scratch ‘n sniff!
4. I LOVE using this technique with Close To My Heart Stamp Cupcake Sprinkles D1336!
I made this card with:
CTMH Cupcake Sprinkles D1336
CTMH Daydream Level 2 Paper Packet X7108B
CTMH White Daisy Cardstock 1385

VersaMark Z891
Purple Embossing powder (I got it at a local craft store)

I hope you enjoy this technique! If you would like to buy any of the Close To My Heart products that I used here, you may buy them at my CTMH store. Click HERE
