Baby Shower Invite

Here is an image of the baby shower invite. All I have to do now is put the info on the green card stock and then I'm done! :o) You can see it but the front says "Soft & Sweet A Bundle Of Joy, Our Mommy Is Expecting A Boy!"

Ladybug Appertizers

I made these ladybug appertizers for a Relief Society Enrichment Night. They turned out really cute and I loved how they tasted too. Here is the recipe for them.

Ingredients:

2 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. sour cream
1/2 tsp. snipped chives
1/8 tsp. minced parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
Black paste food coloring
36 butter-flavored crackers
18 cherry tomatoes, quartered
18 large pitted ripe olives
72 fresh chive pieces (about 1 1/2" long)

Directions:

In small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, chives, parsley, and garlic salt; mix well.
Place 1 Tbsp. in small bag, tint black; set aside.
Spread remaining cream cheese mixture onto crackers.
Arrange two tomato quarters on each cracker for ladybug wings.
For heads, halve the olives width wise; place one half on each cracker.
Insert 2 chives into olives for antennae.
Use tinted cream cheese to pipe spots on wings.

Makes 3 dozen.

Baby shower invite

I finally designed a card for my sister's baby shower. Now I'm just waiting on my new stamp that I ordered from Close To My Heart. The stamp is called It's a Zoo and it is really cute!!!. I just checked my email and it will be here tomorrow!!!! :o) I can't wait.

WOW!!!

It has been a long time seen I blogged. Time sure flies fast!!! :o)

What is happening now? I'm planning a baby shower for one of my sisters. I'm having a hard time coming up with a invite. I tied to make a baby onesie that I saw on an other website but it didn't turn out. It looked HORRIBLE!!! I don't know what went wrong. When I come up with a baby shower card I'll post it. (If I remember. LOL)

My daughter and I planted a small garden this year. She was a big "help". Some of the seeds aren't in the row but that is okay. We have peas, radishes and tomatoes so far. I also planted green onions, carrots, and potatoes. I call it our snack or munchy garden because it is really small and there isn't enough to bottle.
